Buscando conocerte

Did you ever wonder what is the word that defines you?

From the time of the Greeks, was raised the following sentence, "gnothi seauton" or "Know Yourself," as one of the means to reach the truth and transcendence of being. One of the great philosophers who raised this was, Socrates, this was one of the first to give great importance to the search for truth by finding oneself. This developed a method which called Mayeutica, which in Greek means "the midwife", decided to give this name because the person raises a question that is answered with another question, in order that the person finds by itself the response through reflection of the question put to him, or whether the goal is to make the speaker discover their own truths, to give birth to their own knowledge.

The reason I started this journal with a philosophical breviary, is to resume the importance of "Knowing yourself" as a source of information to reach a state of fullness, happiness or health.

That is why this time I decide to search you generate this concern by asking questions about yourself, for this is one of the means or methods that will lead you to find your physical, emotional and spiritual
well-being.

So I gave myself the task to find a question that allows you to generate other questions and this in turn provides you with knowledge about yourself, about your essence.

The question I pose figure out   to find myself  with a book again, that from the moment I started reading it beginning in my search on the meeting of my being. and the question whether I really feel full, without feeling that we call existential vacuum.
This book is "Eat, Pray and Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert, in the marvelous will find musings on life, and probably like me, will feel at times identified with the protagonist. In the book the main character raises many questions, but I decided to share with you the following:

What word defines myself?.

Surely will wonder how on earth find my word within so many?, And What sense?. Answering the first will give rise to the second.

In order to find the word that defines us is necessary to reflect deeply and sincerely in each of the parts of our identity, wondering.

- What is the reason I exist?
 - Where do I turn in life?
- What I love and am passionate about in life?
- What I think most of my time?
- What do I spend most of my time?
These are some of the approaches that would help us to find our word, since the answer we find a word that essentially repeats or is linked to each of the answers.

Surely take time to find it, do not be discouraged, this time indicates that you are being honest with yourself. In the process you may discover that there is a word that defines you in the past or in the present, the important thing is to find which certainly describes in essence, or rather that describes each of the parties that forms and makes you who you are.

Now what good is to find it?, Precisely in so doing will be starting the road to their own knowledge. When you know what the word defining, will more clearly the way to go to reach the state of fulfillment, happiness and therefore health.

I hope as me, this process will be helpful for your being. I would love to hear how it went or is going to them in the process.

And the next blog I will discuss some of the answers I got to find acquaintances around the world about this approach, and if it has any relationship between the country we live our own word and welfare.

Today give yourself the opportunity to discover who you really are.
